Apple updates Trade-in values after 'Surprise and Shine' event
Apple has updated its trade-in values following the 'Surprise and Shine' event, lowering payouts for iPhones while boosting them for iPads and most Macs.

Apple has once again updated the trade-in values across its product lineup following its recent special event titled "Surprise and Shine".
Just a month after previously raising trade-in values for many of its devices, the company has reversed course for smartphones, lowering payout amounts for iPhones.
Despite the decrease in iPhone trade-in values, not all product categories were affected negatively. Apple actually increased the trade-in payouts for iPads and the majority of Mac computers.
These adjustments in Apple's trade-in program are closely watched by consumers and industry analysts alike as they reflect the shifting value of older hardware within the ecosystem.
Such pricing updates allow the tech giant to balance hardware demand and incentivize upgrades across different product lines following major company events.
