Anthropic Launches Claude Fable 5.1 and Mythos 5.1 Models
Anthropic has introduced its newest AI models, Fable 5.1 and Mythos 5.1, addressing customer criticisms regarding pricing, data retention, and safeguards while offering significant cost reductions.

AI pioneer Anthropic has officially unveiled its latest artificial intelligence models, Claude Fable 5.1 and Mythos 5.1. The new release directly addresses ongoing criticisms from enterprise customers regarding high pricing models, data retention policies, and overly strict safety guardrails.
According to the company, Claude Fable 5.1 delivers stronger performance compared to its predecessor while cutting costs significantly. The model is typically around 25 percent cheaper for standard workloads and up to 45 percent cheaper for complex agentic tasks, making advanced AI much more cost-effective.
These improvements are designed to streamline agentic work, where AI systems autonomously execute multi-step tasks. By reducing financial barriers, Anthropic aims to make large-scale automation more accessible to developers and organizations alike.
For the global tech ecosystem, including emerging tech hubs in Central Asia, more affordable and capable AI models mean lower barriers to entry for building innovative applications, automating workflows, and experimenting with advanced agentic systems.
