Google One is working on a feature to fix multi-account storage sharing
Code findings indicate Google is building a 'Connected accounts' feature to let users share storage and AI benefits without creating a family group.

According to a report by Android Authority, Google is addressing one of the most frustrating limitations for users managing multiple accounts within its Google One ecosystem.
App code discoveries suggest that the company is currently developing a new feature called «Connected accounts». This capability will allow users to share cloud storage and AI perks without the need to set up a formal family group.
Currently, sharing Google One storage relies strictly on the Family Sharing mechanism, which forces users to be part of the same household group and comes with specific administrative constraints. The upcoming feature aims to bypass these rigid requirements.
This addition will streamline how individuals manage personal and secondary profiles, making it much easier to distribute valuable storage space and advanced artificial intelligence features across different accounts.
For tech-savvy users who juggle multiple Google profiles for work and personal use, this upcoming flexibility will significantly improve the overall subscription value and ease of management.
