• Priced at $49.99, the device features a built-in retractable USB-C cable measuring 29 inches (approx. 74 cm) in length.
• An integrated spring mechanism allows users to pull the cord to the desired length and automatically retract it back into the housing.

• The package includes interchangeable adapters for UK and European power outlets alongside a fold-flat US plug.

Design Features and Cable Mechanism

The main highlight of the Twelve South Cablesnap is its integrated wire equipped with a spring-loaded retraction system. Users can pull out the USB-C cable to an optimal length of up to 74 centimeters during use. Once finished, a gentle tug on the cord instantly and neatly reels it back inside the compact plastic housing.

Performance and Connectivity Ports

Despite its compact footprint, the charging block delivers a total output of up to 65W. This performance level makes it possible to simultaneously charge multiple devices, such as a MacBook Air laptop, an iPad tablet, and a modern smartphone. Alongside the built-in cord, the unit provides separate USB-C and standard USB-A ports, with the latter supporting up to 18W for fast accessories charging.

Travel Versatility and Box Contents

Engineered specifically for frequent travelers, the accessory boasts a versatile power delivery system. In its base configuration, it comes with a built-in foldable US-standard plug, making it safe to pack without scratching other belongings. Additionally, the manufacturer includes dedicated slip-on adapters for British and European socket types right in the box.

What It Means for Users and the Market

The launch of such accessories highlights the industry trend toward maximum convenience and clutter-free ergonomics in portable charging solutions. For users in regions relying on standard European sockets, the inclusion of matching adapters right out of the box provides immediate readiness without the need to purchase separate third-party travel plugs.
