Firefox's Smart Window brings advanced AI features and source links
Firefox introduces Smart Window, featuring AI chats powered by Exa with live web data, automatic tab grouping, and visual history search.

Mozilla has rolled out a significant update for Firefox, enhancing its browser capabilities with advanced artificial intelligence features designed to streamline the web browsing experience.
Starting today, AI chats within Firefox's Smart Window browsing mode can pull from current web information and display source links directly in chat responses. This capability is made possible through a strategic partnership with Exa.
In addition to enhanced AI chat responses, Smart Window can now automatically suggest tab groups, helping users keep their workspaces organized without manual sorting.
The update also introduces a smarter history search feature that allows users to search their browsing history using natural language while viewing visual previews of previously visited pages.
These new capabilities reflect the ongoing integration of AI into daily web tools, offering users a more efficient and context-aware way to navigate the internet.
