iOS 27 adds an all-new app to your iPhone’s Home Screen

Apple has officially released iOS 27 to the public, bringing a wide array of new Siri and Apple Intelligence features to compatible devices. The update marks a significant milestone in how users interact with their iPhones.

One of the most notable changes in this release is the addition of an all-new Siri app right on the Home Screen. This is a historic moment as it is the first time Siri has been pre-installed as a standalone application for iPhone users.

By turning Siri into a dedicated home screen app, Apple is making its intelligent assistant more accessible and prominently featured. Users can now engage with the assistant's evolving capabilities through a familiar app interface.

This update reflects the ongoing shift toward deeper AI integration in mobile operating systems. For tech enthusiasts and everyday users alike, the standalone Siri app sets a new standard for how voice assistants and smart features are presented on modern smartphones.
