RivianOS 2: Unifying Software for R1 and R2 Vehicles
Rivian is rolling out RivianOS 2, unifying software across its R1 and R2 vehicles.

Rivian is launching RivianOS 2, the largest overhaul of its in-car software since the R1 was first introduced. For the first time, it consolidates all vehicles sold by the company onto a single software platform.
The update, version 2026.31, has started reaching eligible R1 and R2 vehicles today. It brings a rebuilt interface, Unreal Engine 5 graphics, real-time alerts for police and speed cameras, and a deeper AI layer that Rivian calls Unified Intelligence.
This RivianOS 2 update offers numerous new features for vehicle users, helping to make the driving experience more convenient and safer. It is also designed to enhance the efficiency of vehicle management and monitoring.
Given the ongoing development of automotive technologies in Uzbekistan and the CIS countries, the rollout of RivianOS 2 is significant for local manufacturers and users. This update elevates vehicles to a new level in the digital transformation process.
