The sexy AI-powered dating app scams are here
Security researcher Matthew Gore-Kormanik has uncovered a fraudulent dating app called Dora utilizing AI features.

Security researcher Matthew "Zigula" Gore-Kormanik was analyzing a fraudulent dating app named Dora when he encountered a concerning new feature. A pop-up message suddenly appeared on his screen, indicating that he was receiving a call from someone named Jennifer.
According to her detailed bio, Jennifer was a 41-year-old Sagittarius with red hair, blue eyes, and piercings, who enjoyed music, horror movies, nightlife, and sports. However, this appealing persona was entirely fabricated to lure unsuspecting users into a well-crafted trap.
Gore-Kormanik answered the call to investigate further, uncovering how modern artificial intelligence is being weaponized by scammers. These fraudulent apps leverage advanced technology to simulate human interaction, making their schemes far more convincing and dangerous than traditional online scams.
For technology users in Uzbekistan and the broader region, this trend highlights the evolving nature of cyber threats. As AI tools become more accessible, scammers are increasingly using them to exploit human emotions, making digital vigilance and cybersecurity awareness more critical than ever.
