AvtoVAZ has officially introduced a significant update for the Lada Vesta vehicle family. The main highlight of this refresh is the introduction of a modernized 1.8-liter flagship engine, designed to deliver better dynamic performance and overall everyday drivability.
- The updated 1.8-liter engine produces 132 hp and 175 Nm of torque.
- Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 10 seconds with a top speed of 192 km/h.
- Available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT starting from 'Praktik' and 'Drive' trims.
- Cross versions now feature a dedicated drive mode selector for various road surfaces.
Performance and Technical Specs
With the new power unit, the Lada Vesta shows improved performance metrics. The car accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in exactly 10 seconds, while its top speed reaches 192 kilometers per hour. The average fuel consumption in a mixed cycle is rated at 7.4 liters per 100 kilometers.
The manufacturer notes that the increased torque available across the entire rev range makes everyday driving more responsive and comfortable. The engine is paired with two transmission options: a six-speed manual gearbox and a modern continuously variable transmission (CVT).
