Over one million people have used LinkedIn's AI content reporting button
LinkedIn reports massive engagement with its new feature designed to help users flag automated and low-quality AI-generated posts.

Professional networking platform LinkedIn rolled out a specific reporting option allowing users to flag content they believe is generated by artificial intelligence. Initially announced on July 30, the feature aims to address the growing influx of automated posts on the platform.
According to a post shared on Thursday by Chief Product Officer Hari Srinivasan, over a million people have already clicked the button. The reporting tool can be easily accessed through the three-dot menu located on any post in the feed.
The rapid adoption of this feature highlights a broader user fatigue regarding low-effort, AI-generated text flooding social media channels. Platforms are increasingly under pressure to implement better content filtering mechanisms to maintain authentic engagement among professionals.
For the global tech community, this milestone demonstrates how seriously platforms and users are taking the challenge of content authenticity. As AI tools become more accessible, user-driven moderation is emerging as a crucial defense mechanism for maintaining the quality of digital spaces
